Transport payments

All students are required to organise payment of their travel before their travel pass can be released.

Payment Options

1. Pay in Full

2. Pay in instalments. This option allows you to split your payments for transport over the academic year.

An £80 immediate deposit is required followed by eight monthly card instalments. By setting up an instalment plan you are agreeing to payments being automatically collected from your payment card on the 1st of each month from October until the balance is cleared. (Your final payment will be adjusted where required)

Please note: Campus Bus/Campus Direct Travel is heavily subsidised by the College. Purchasing Campus Bus or Campus Direct Travel transport is therefore a commitment to the full annual cost and any instalment plans in place will continue until the annual cost is fully paid. No refunds can be issued, including where a student passes their driving test in the academic year and no longer wishes to travel on campus transport. Campus Bus/ Campus Direct Travel credits or refunds are only issued where a student withdraws from College.

What do I do if I have applied for funding?

If you have applied for funding but are awaiting a decision, please still complete the above. Should any subsequent funding be awarded to you we will refund any over payment and/or ask you to set up a new plan.

Partial funding awarded

If you have already been awarded funding reducing the balance, you will be provided with details on how to purchase your funded transport.

Full funding awarded

If you have already been awarded funding covering the full cost of your travel pass no further action is required.

Please note - Whilst payment is required to apply for a travel pass, this does not guarantee a space will be available on the bus. Should we not be able to accommodate your request any payments will be refunded.
